Census 2010 and the Latino community of Massachusetts

On behalf of Mi Familia Vota, the Gastón Institute, ya es hora ¡Hagase Contar!, La Alianza Hispana, Centro Presente, Centro Latino de Chelsea, Chelsea Collaborative, The Dominican Development Center, Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion (IBA), and SEIU Local 615, we invite you to special meeting focused on Census 2010 and the Latino community of Massachusetts.    This meeting will take place on:

March 3, 2010
9:00-11:00am
One Beacon Street, 7th Floor Boston, MA 02108
(Coffee, Juice, pastries, and fruit will be served beginning at 8:30am)

The purpose of this meeting is for Latino leaders and Latino community serving organizations to:
•         Meet the leadership and staff of our region’s Census Bureau and learn about the Bureaus’ strategies to ensure a complete count of Latinos in Massachusetts
•         Meet and network with Latino leaders and Latino community serving organizations that are working to ensure a complete count for our community
•         Share and develop collective strategies for a complete count of the Massachusetts Latino community.
